Enjoying the hot summer days outside laying on a comfortable and steady hammock is the American dream. There are so many garden hammocks to choose from but you have to find the one that meets all your needs. For instance, if you’re someone who loves to explore the world then you obviously might need something to sleep on when you’re out in the wild. Hammock sounds a nice option. Yet, a typical garden hammock isn’t the best choice while hiking. On the other hand, buying two kinds of hammock for two particular tasks doesn’t seem to be a good investment. But there is a middle ground that is still to be discovered and that’s my friend is the Eno JungleNest Hammock. And today we will be reviewing this camping/leisure hammock to see what it has to offer.
Why should you buy it?
Resistance to weight: Obviously when choosing a hammock it is essential to take into account the weight of the user, as it is the key element to ensure both safety and proper maintenance and durability of it. The resistance mainly depends of the material of the hammock itself. But still, the weight capacity is important. This Eno JungleNest Hammock is supposed to support 400 pounds without any difficulty. That is more than enough to carry two people at once without any risk.
Material: Like most camping hammock of today this one uses 210D nylon taffeta ripstop as its key fabric. This thing is known to be super durable. This provides resistance, but also the fabric is soft and pleasant when you touch it. You do not feel any discomfort while you use it. The fabric is also breathable. So, you won’t sweat like a pig while you’re laying on it like other hammocks. However, as a precaution use some extra blanket to keep yourself warm on cold chilly nights. But for summer days, sleeping on this swing bed is a real pleasure. Another fact about the fabric is that it is washable. So, you can wash it without worrying about wearing out its integrity.
Easy setup: Hammocks outperforms tents when it comes to the setup process. And this one has one of the easiest setup systems you’ll see in a hammock. Just take the straps out of the package. Tie them to trees and use the carabineers to securely lock the hammock to the knots on the straps. And you’re done. Anyone can do this under 5 minutes or less which saves a lot of time and energy unlike tents.
Versatility: The Eno JungleNest Hammock is one of the most versatile hammock out there currently in the market for various reasons. For starters, the packed version of the sack is small enough to carry easily in a backpack. It is lightweight so you don’t feel fatigue carrying it. It is spacious when it is unpacked. The dimension of the hammock is big enough to accommodate two adults and still, you will have some room left. Plus, it is all weather resistant, so it won’t be damaged due to rain or stretched out from heat. But the icing on the cake is its bug net. Finally, a hammock that provides a netting system to keep away bugs and mosquitos while you’re sleeping in the inhospitable jungles. It is so easy to use as there is a zipper to open the net and close it.
Multi-use: As I’ve mentioned at the beginning of the article, the reason I choose this one over others is due to its variety of use. Usually, garden hammocks are great to chill under the hot summer sun in the backyard. However, they aren’t equipped enough to use for camping. That problem is easily solved by the JungleNest as it is perfect as a traveling bed, meantime for regular use you can’t get anything better.

To be honest, the reason I went with this Eno JungleNest Hammock is that I can use it while I go to hiking and stuff. And therefore, paying such price didn’t upset me because I made a solid investment. But not everyone will be happy to pay for a hammock just to hang it on their garden. Even I myself won’t do so.
By this I mean, you should only think about buying this hammock if you can get more use out of it and not just use as a garden laying spot. However, if you have the money to spend and want something that will last years to come then you should go big and get this hammock. This will be a one-time investment because you won’t ever have to buy another hammock. Believe when I say so.
